HACO belongs to the culinary scene of Hamburg since 2017. The vibrant streets of St. Pauli gives a nice contrast to the finesse of the kitchen. Culinary wise HACO focuses on a strong regional phylosophy exchange. Bjoern Juhnke, owner of HACO, can look back to a successful international career. Opened HACO in St. Pauli as his first project; with his young and dynamic team - hungry for success - he is expanding his Restaurant group across the city. Never losing focus on sustainable, regional, and seasonal produce. These are not just words; rather, strong moral values in the successful story of HACO. Whether in a glass or on a plate; taste, and the story behind the product takes high priority.

Please be aware, to ensure the best possible experience for all of our guests, HACO is currently unable to accommodate ANY dietary restrictions or allergies.

 

We do not wish to abstain from our philosophy and core beliefs, disregarding lactose products (ie. Milk, Butter, Yogurt, etc); these products are integral to the cooking style of HACO. This also applies to the quality of Proteins (ie. Beef, Poultry, Game, Fish, Mollusks, etc). We pay respect to our farmers by doing our due diligence in knowing where and how our products are manufactured and handled.

We cannot appease Vegan diets, however we continuously offer vegetarian options.

Please feel free to contact us in regards to any dietary restrictions, prior to your dinning experience. Once seated, changes will not be made.

About Us

After many years in the industry around the world, Bjoern Juhnke established HACO in Hamburg. His flagship in St. Pauli, Hamburg - He opened with a strong creed of using products 180 degrees North. With strong credentials, he has accumulated 15 points in the Gault Millaut and holding a newly appointed green star in the Michelin Guide; highlighting their resourcefulness in sustainability. Since then critics, journalists, and renowned bloggers in the highest caliber have revered Bjoern’s actions in the highest degree. In the restaurant we strive for the highest quality products; through our relationships with local farmers, hunters, and fish mongers, many deliver their best products at our door-step. Since then, the HACO Restaurant Group has grown steadily transforming their bold philosophy across the city.
